Start the month with some attention to your home, your people, and what needs handling.
Head of the Month brings together Black American conjure, ancestor remembrance, and first-Sunday household practice in regular conversational language. You’ll work through setting an ancestor table, tending the threshold, making a month list, and choosing practices that fit your household.
Historical background and sources help distinguish documented customs from family variations. Safety protocols cover candles, oils, baths, food offerings, and disposal.
